We got a talker

On wednesday we did some personal shopping around town. We have visted this specific furniture store a few times since i have started the internship. The people that own it are lovely, but they can talk! We were in the store for about two hours just talking. It was almost imposisble to leave. We also went to another store where i bought my sofa from when i moved into The Lakes. I warned Matt that this lady likes to talk about her life, which sadly doesnt sound like she is a very happy person. It was very awkward but Matt handled it so well and we somehow got out of there quickly. It is very surprising how people just want to talk. Which i do too, but Matt is a very busy guy.

On thursday we went to a neighborhood that is located inside the neighborhood Audubon, i think thats the name. Anyways, this home is a new construction, around 3,500 square feet. Everything is very tastefull and the crown molding.....fabulous! This client is very good friends with Matt by the way. We did a walk through of the home and i just couldnt help but stare at all the beautiful antiques this client has aquired over the years. When we got the the kicthen the client was looking at the sink, which the cabinent where the sink drops in to was not cut to the shape as the sink, which tappers in. So there are two large gaps on the left and the right of the sink. Matt was not happy about that nor was the client. There are also decorative pieces, i dont know what they are called, that the cabinet maker forgot to install under the sink. That sink is already glued down and is not going anywhere. Matt tried to talk to the cabinet maker how they could fix the problem and he was just not comprehending. It was interesting to see how the two of them talked and tried to resolve the issue.
