NOLA bound

On Thursday Matt and I went to New Orleans to meet up with a client. He met this couple at a Christmas party one year and they needed an Interior Designer. The house was located in Uptown. It was a cute shotgun house. When we walked in it was a bit smelly, and there were toys everywhere. I mean literally in every inch of this house. We walked back to the kitchen, which smelled, and had more toys. Matt had to measure the bench seating in the kitchen for new cushions and pick out a paint color for the walls and cabinets. The colors were so pretty. All very neutral. The two children were adroable. One was just a baby and it kept holding my hand, how cute. When we were done with that meeting we did some personal shopping. We have been looking for two night stands for this client with a tight budget. We have looked everywhere with no luck yet. She wants to spend $200.00 for each nighstand. Only thing that is even close to that price is at At Home, and the quality of the stuff there is just horrible. Even New Orleans didnt have nightstands. We searched in this new store called Arhause, it was soo cool. Kind of reminded me of Restoration Hardware/Pottery Barn. We found one but it would be too short for their california kind bed. The search goes on.......

Here is a picture of the store.
